Hey There

Find out about me as a writer.

In my day job, I work closely with people, conversations, and decisions. Writing offers a deliberate counterweight to that rhythm. It allows me to slow down, to listen differently, and to attend to what usually remains unsaid.

I am particularly interested in language as a medium of memory and in the ways places inscribe themselves into biographies. Streets, rooms, and cities recur in my texts not as backdrops, but as quiet witnesses to change, separation, and continuity.

Most of my writing has been in English, a language that gives me both distance and precision. Since 2024, I have increasingly returned to my native language German, exploring what shifts when stories are told closer to home.

I live between Vienna and Thessaloniki and travel regularly. This movement between cities, languages, and cultural registers informs my work and shapes its recurring questions: how we belong, how we leave, and what we carry with us.
